Philanthropy

Philanthropy is woven into the heart of Navajo Girl. This work is rooted in lived experience, cultural responsibility, and a deep commitment to healing, education, and belonging.

A portion of Navajo Girl’s efforts support initiatives that uplift children, families, and communities—particularly those impacted by domestic violence, cultural displacement, and lack of access to culturally respectful resources.

As a survivor and advocate, Maureen Mink believes that storytelling, education, and visibility can create lasting change. Through school visits, book programs, and community partnerships, Navajo Girl works to foster safety, self-worth, and connection for future generations.

Philanthropic efforts may include donations, in-kind support, educational programming, and collaborations with schools, nonprofit organizations, and community groups. These initiatives evolve thoughtfully and intentionally, guided by community needs and cultural value
